Investment Approach

We are not your typical investor.

We are a hands-off partner for entrepreneurs of successful digital companies: you sell some of your shares but still run your business independently.

We invest into your business for the long run, with our own money, regardless of market cycles.

We do not encourage our companies to optimise for the short term. Instead, we work hard towards turning our companies into sustainable champions over time.

You will not be integrated into a large corporation that meddles with your culture and team. We are building a network of autonomous entrepreneurs who own a material equity stake in the businesses they run.

We love partnering with profitable niche online marketplace and SaaS companies.

We typically look at three different kinds of opportunities:

1.) Bootstrappers

You have spent the last years building a profitable business, with your own money, sweat and patience. Now, you need a partner to internationalise, accelerate growth or simply want to sell some of your shares but continue to lead the business into the next phase of growth.

2.) Companies switching from unsustainable growth to profitability

You have built a great business with considerable revenues and you are even close to profitability already. Your VC investors are at the end of their holding period and need to exit. You want to stay on board to turn the company into a profitable, cashflow yielding business.

3.) Your early investors or co-founders want out

Your business angels or co-founders want to exit and you want to bring in a new entrepreneurial investor to take your business to the next level.

Our main focus

Majority Acquisitions

Investing in profitable (>€500k EBITDA) niche marketplaces and adjacent software businesses with more than €2m in revenues across Europe where we can add value and build a >€2m EBITDA business in three to five years.

  • Financials: €2-3m revenues, growing and profitable
  • Attractive market position: market leader or significant number 2 in a defensible niche (preferably EU)
  • Investment size up € 50m
  • We want entrepreneurs to remain in the company and further drive the company’s growth
